Maigan Lynn is a self-taught fantasy artist in love with the world of whimsy, childhood imagination, and fantastical creatures with wings! She works traditionally with watercolour and metallic acrylic paints, along with her most trusty black pigment liners. She gathers her inspiration from many places including the beauty nature provides, the muses she collects from other artists that adorn her art studio walls, and funny or cute ideas and thoughts. She affectionately calls the beauties that appear in her artwork, her ‘divas’. She’s been selling her own original art for the past 4 years and has hopes for it to become her full-time ‘job’.
Though born in Germany, Maigan has lived most of her life in Canada and is a firm believer that there is no place like home. She currently resides in Ontario with her husband, Jay, and zoo of fur-children. She loves animals and is never usually more than 3 feet away from one at any given time! When she’s not creating artwork you can usually find her outside in her gardens in the spring and summer months, looking for fairies in the flowers!
